At the interview with New Cannabis Ventures, he shared the company’s market strategy. He emphasized that MedMen’s retail stores are essential to its strategy. Most of their company’s stores are designed to be located in prime real estate locations, hoping that people who have never used cannabis will be curious enough and comfortable enough to step inside their stores.

 

The result, though, is unknown. Bierman thinks MedMen company is moving in the direction of its goal, to be a dominant and national retailer in cannabis with a not bad scale and speed.

 

2. The First Hemp Strain to Be Awarded a US Patent ( plant patent), the awarded cannabis strains:  CW2A, a new and distinct hemp cultivar 

 

The awarded reason: it is a hardy hemp plant, resistant to cold and capable of producing up to 6.24%CBD and only 0.27% THC. 0.27%, this value is below the 0.3% THC threshold.  Based on this, CW2A distinguishes itself from the rest of cannabis under current federal law.

 

3. Multistate marijuana operator, Cresco Labs, purchased Canada's Origin House, a major marijuana distributor in California, in a $ 823 million deal and is significantly closer to completion. The transaction, like others in the U.S. marijuana industry, subsequently fell under U.S.

 

4. California may get every licensed cannabis business loaded into the track-and-trace system statewide by next month. This can get each one of those businesses on the same page. This is an effective way to check and manage supply chain transparency and engage the consumer with straightforward information about the products they’re purchasing. According to the data, the state has issued more than 6,700 cannabis business licenses. "Over half the market” is on board as of now. 

 

5. The House of Representatives voted to let federally insured banks work with cannabis shops and related companies in states that have legalized marijuana. The move will ease the financing crunch facing the multibillion-dollar marijuana industry.
