Policy on UKCA Certification

What is UKCA Marking

The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed)marking is a new UK product marking regulation that will be used in place of the CE mark in the UK market.

On June 20, 2022, the UK government announced the following updated regulations.

Conformity assessment documents for CE marking completed by manufacturers by December 31, 2022 can be used directly as the basis for the UKCA mark without the need for retesting. This provision is valid until the expiration of its CE-RED form of confirmation certificate or until December 31, 2027

It is clear that there is no need to re-test UKCA for existing stock products that have been imported into the UK market

Before December 31, 2025, continue to allow companies to choose to identify the UKCA mark on the product body of the nameplate or product attachment documents. However, from January 1, 2026, only on the product body nameplate marking.
